Facial recognition (or face recognition) is a biometric method of identifying an individual by comparing live capture or digital image data with the stored record of the individual. It is used primarily in conditional access and security but is also gaining popularity in interactive gaming.
Watch the video below and see our own basic face recognition program using the Raspberry Pi 3 and camera module! It is not as refined as commercial versions but what the heck, it is not pricey as well. For your Raspberry Pi projects you can get in touch with us either by dropping by our Shop in Quezon City or calling us at 2380870.
(If you’re interested in making a similar system, you can start by checking out our RPi 3 promo bundle and save up to 200 pesos on a genuine Raspberry Pi 3 with the official case!) 🙂
